its been a while...

yes yes, i know. i am such a bad mother. i haven't spent any time uploading or keeping track of numerous moments that i want to remember forever.

here are a few conversations and moments i never want to forget:

joshua and i were laying in bed together before his afternoon nap. we were talking about sydney, his cousin who is still in utero. i asked him if he was excited and he said yes. the rest of the conversation went like this...

me: do you want a little sister?
joshua: no, mom.
me: how bout a little brother?
joshua: no, mom. i got one already. (i am dying at this point.)
me: well, (giggle) how about another little brother, a new one?
joshua: no, mom (pointer finger shaking left to right) that's too many.

hahahahahaha. at least the kid is honest.

christmas eve- midnight mass

all the lights are turned down low in church. the choir starts singing and the procession begins. I tell joshua to watch because the priest is carrying baby Jesus to the manger to stay with His Mama and Papa. Joshua watches intently then points and screams looks mommy, "Baby Jesus!"
As the priest places Baby Jesus into the manger the lights in the church turn on dramatically as the choir sings Joy to the World. Joshua then sits up and questions loudly enough for the people in front and in back of us to hear, "Mom, Who turned on lights?"

needless to say the people all around us were cracking up. oh yea he also wore his batman mask to mass.

gosh, there are so many joshua stories i can't remember them all.

tyler is growing up really quickly now too! he is into everything as usual and now wants to do everything his kuya is doing. obviously this is the cause of more and more fights between these two loving brothers.

tyler, is only 16 months, yet he enjoy playing with his brother's batman figurines almost as much as his brother does. i often catch tyer pretending to fly the flying bat vehicle thing. he even makes the kshhhhh noises we make for the engine. its so darn cute.

his latest "trick" is he knows how to give a pound when saying goodbye and offers it to anyone who will return the gesture. sometimes when we are sitting around together he will make a fist and point it at my face. it only takes me a second to realize that the kid isn't trying to "POW" me like joshua does sometimes but he is actually asking for a pound. sigh. does he really have to grow up? i kinda like him little like this.

more to come in the following weeks. (i hope.) sorry for the poor writing. did this before putting joshua to bed. he is playing with my itouch. this kid.

good night.
